Nano PDF

Nano PDF lets you edit PDF files using natural language. Target specific pages, fix typos, change titles, adjust text β€” without leaving your agent context. All processing happens locally; files never leave your machine.

What it can do

TaskExample
Fix typos"Fix the typo in the subtitle on page 1"
Change titles"Change the title on page 1 to 'Q2 Results'"
Update text"Replace all instances of 'FY2025' with 'FY2026' throughout the document"
Add content"Add a footer to every page with the company name and page number"
Edit sections"Rewrite the executive summary on page 2 to be more concise β€” aim for 3 sentences"

Basic usage

Edit report.pdf page 1 β€” change the title to "Q2 Review" and fix the typo in the subtitle.
Update proposal.pdf β€” replace [CLIENT NAME] with "Acme Corp" on every page.
Edit the contract.pdf executive summary (page 2) to remove the sentence starting with "Furthermore".

Page targeting

Nano PDF uses page-level targeting. You can specify pages by number (1-based):

Edit pages 3-5 of the report β€” change the section header font style from italic to bold.
Only edit page 1 of the deck. Change the date from "May 2025" to "May 2026".

Local processing

All PDF editing runs on your machine. No files are uploaded to any external service. This matters for:

  • Contracts and legal documents
  • Financial reports
  • Any document with confidential data

Nano PDF works best with "digital-born" PDFs that contain selectable text. Scanned documents (image-only PDFs) require OCR processing first before they can be edited. Ask your Claw to run OCR if you get an error on a scanned file.
